With a strong background in working with leather and leather alternatives, as well as recycled man-made and natural textiles, your brand’s Accessories division will be in expert hands. Her in-depth knowledge also extends to sustainable materials like palm raffia, corn husk, and a variety of grasses and paper techniques, ensuring that your handbagsare crafted with the end customer’s needs and expectations at the forefront.

Brand Collaborations & Design Experience

Background

Marion has an extensive background in Fashion and Accessories design, with a strong portfolio of collaborations across both European and Asian markets. Her work consistently reflects a deep understanding of brand identity and customer expectations, combining style, functionality and cultural insight.

Brand collaborations

After co-founding Modalu London and designing for the brand for over 10 years, Marion went on to full-time Accessories design positions at John Lewis Partnership, Paul Costelloe & Matthew Williamson.

Other projects have included Freelance roles with Reiss, Amanda Wakeley and Giles Deacon, and Limited Edition charity Accessory design projects for Waitrose/Action for Children.

Designed to Order (Asia)

Created exclusive, limited-edition handbags and footwear collections for leading Japanese fashion retailers including Isetan and Spick & Span in Shibuya, Tokyo, as well as Tomorrowland, across Japan.

Established a long lasting partnership between Modalu London and the Taipei based shopping platform Momo Fubon, Taiwan’s largest fashion retailer.
